AVAWT

AVAWT (Augmented Vertical Axis Wind Turbine)

In India and many other countries, wind power is low for several hours each day. Harvesting low power winds with lower heights can be a rural solution, along with solar, for generating energy for more hours each day.

Most countries with a sea coast experience land and sea breezes every day. Newer, low-inertia, vertical-axis wind mills can compete with high wind, very tall, horizontal-axis wind turbines. This may reduce the cost of distribution transmission lines. This technology is a challenging creation that provides efficient wind power, rotational power to the electric generator, and steps towards a relevant, lower-cost, new energy source for all countries.

Our technology is both unique and innovative. Our wind-enhanced turbines transfer more power to the many blades of the VAT. This increases energy harvest and allows for smooth running of turbines at a lower cost. Additionally, our turbines can be used with smaller towers and face fewer wind shading problems when used in multiple AVATs. This makes it possible to create more efficient new AVAT grids for greater energy output. Our technology is affordable, easy to install, and simple to maintain.
